The American pilot, famous for his Gymkhanas, died tonight when he was traveling alone on a snowmobile.
Every day approximately 150,000 people die in the world and so far in 2023 at the time of writing these lines (9:00 a.m. on January 3) nearly 500,000 people have already died. But as is often the case deaths that leave you in shock and this one that we are recounting right now is one of thems as much for the notoriety of the character as for the surprising conditions in which it has been given. because tonight Ken Block has died from a snowmobile accident.

The mishap could have happened atface a slope and see how the motorcycle rushed over the pilot 55 year old American. Block would have been declared dead in the same place due to the injuries produced because although he “traveled with a group, Mr. Block was alone when the accident happened”, according to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s office (Utah, USA), where the Block was spending a few days as he had reflected on his Instagram account. The same one in which he posted some stories yesterday with, precisely, some snowmobiles completely covered by a white cloak in which, predictably, the tragic event could have occurred.

The death of Ken Block has also been confirmed by his own team, Hoonigan, in a statement published on his own website: “With our deepest regret, we can confirm that Ken Block died today in a snowmobile accident. Ken was a visionary, a trailblazer, and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be missed incredibly.” Block, known worldwide for his eccentricities at the controls of everything that smelled of gasoline as well as, mainly, his famous Gymkhanas, leaves Lucy Block a widow, to whom he had been married since 2004, as well as three children being perhaps the most notorious Lia Block who began to follow in the footsteps of the father being, in addition, the last post alive that he has left on his wall before the accident. Rest in peace.
