Aston Martin continues working to settle in the upper part of theFormula 1. They are the third team in the Constructors’ World Championship, they have added six podiums and the progress of their new factory continues its course. A few weeks ago, The works of the first phase of construction have been completed. Now, taking advantage of the British Grand Prix, Alonso has visited the finished offices for the first time.
The objective of the British team with its new factory is to be able to establish itself as one of the best teams in the ‘Great Circus’. The first phase, the office area, is already finished. The next step will be the construction of the wind tunnelwhich is expected to end in mid-2024.
Fernando Alonso took advantage of the trip to United Kingdom for this weekend’s race and visited the finished facility for the first time, of which he was impressed: “I’ve been to the new factory this week and every time I go there, I think it is a very impressive place and exciting to work.
“It is a true declaration of intent for the future of the teameither. I’m excited to see what we can do across the street (the new factory is next to the Silverstone circuit) in front of the British fans this weekend,” Alonso said in a statement posted on the Aston Martin website.
And that new factory has already participated insmall improvements that the British will introduce for Silverstone, in an attempt to regain second place in the Constructors’ World Championship and turn off the alarms that could have gone off after the Austrian GP.
