Physical problems have not given Lance Stroll any respite this season. In the month of February he suffered a fall on his bicycle in which broke one wrist, sprained the other, and suffered a cracked foot right. In Silverstone he has once again suffered an incident with his hands, although this time everything has been a scare.
The Canadian driver was lapping during the second practice session of the British Grand Prix when he suddenly slowed down and spoke to his engineer on the radio.
“A stone has hit me on the finger. It hurts a lot, but I can continue“said Stroll, who had no major problems finishing the third free practice session.
It was not the only incident suffered by the Canadian, who, although he did not have to pit for the incident with the stone, did have to do so for a crack in the left mirror.
Fernando Alonso has also had problems, whom a small piece of carbon fiber has gotten into a tireforcing him to stop.
However, two separate problems have not prevented the two Aston Martins from completing the session normally, finishing Lance Stroll in sixth position and Fernando Alonso in the tenth.
