In this way, it arises the Parts Distribution Center (PDC), which is located in the Millennium Industrial Park in the city of San Luis Potosí. This complex, whose monetary investment was 130 million pesos, has an area of 3,000 m2 and a storage capacity of up to 200,000 collision, maintenance and mechanical parts ready to be sent to any dealer of the brand in the country, which allows Optimize delivery times for the benefit of customers.

Today, MG Motor Mexico’s PDC has received 52 containers, equivalent to 127,000 auto parts that move throughout the country from this important industrial corridor of the country. These are some statistical figures from the PDC:

  • It has 24 collaborators to attend to Delivery operations.
  • It can move up to 2,200 auto parts per day, guaranteeing a maximum of 3 days for delivery throughout the country.
  • Of the 100% of the pieces that arrive at the PDC, 95% arrive by sea and 5% by air from China.
  • Consumables such as batteries, tires and oils are provided locally.
  • Monthly, the PDC distributes up to 45,000 pieces.
  • It currently has a stock of 650,000 auto parts and a total inventory available to supply for 4 and a half months.

By 2023, MG Motor México plans to expand its storage capacity to 10,000 m2, and continue strengthening post-sale strategies for the benefit of the client, in addition to increasing the service capacity for the vehicle fleet delivered to clients, which, for this year, the brand estimates that it will be 55,000 units sold, equivalent to 5.5% participation in the national market.
