Fernando Alonso knows no limit. The Asturian, two-time Formula 1 champion, has spoken on ‘B&O’ and he has confirmed what his great objective is in what remains in the Great Circus. And yes, he is more than ambitious… because what he seeks seems to be an impossible.
But for him ‘impossible’ is just a word. enrolled in the team Aston Martin, who a year ago was fighting at the bottom of the grid with Williams, has three podiums in three careers as different from each other as they have been Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Australia, and in the team they are not satisfied with being second.
Neither did he, and that’s something he loves. He loves that ambition at Silverstone. That desire to always push up without forgetting, of course, where you come from and which team is ahead. But they have already arrived, and now it remains to maintain and evolve an AMR23 that is increasingly less surprising to fight to win.
Two titles… and three years of ‘almost’
