Nissan Mexicana donates a 2023 Urvan specially adapted as a mobile hearing clinic

What’s going on?


Nissan Mexicana collaborated with the MVS Radio Foundation through its social program “Ponte Oreja” with the donation of a 2023 Nissan URVANwhich will function as a mobile unit equipped to provide health services to people with hearing disabilities.



This unit —which will reach states of the Mexican Republic such as Puebla, Tamaulipas, Chihuahua, Morelos, Oaxaca, Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Chiapas and Guanajuato— fIt was adapted with a sound-damped cabin in which audiometries can be carried out; in addition to equipping it with connection panels, inverter generators, internal and external accessorization, security kit, among other elements, turning it into a mobile medical office.


With this donation, Nissan and the “Ponte Oreja” Program They will help people who are in a situation of economic vulnerability or fight against hearing impairment and access audiometry services.


Additionally, with the aim of contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and safe society, the Nissan After Sales area joined the cause through the donation of accessories, providing the unit with the opportunity to increase the load capacity for the transportation of materials and instruments that help improve the experience in each of the consultations that will be provided to the communities.



In the words of the CEO of Nissan Mexico


“At Nissan, We have three fundamental pillars in our social responsibility plan: environment, education and inclusion. For what this collaboration with “Ponte Oreja” is so significant for us, we know that it will generate a positive impact in the lives of all the people who benefit from this program, which is now able to expand thanks to this donation”, said José Román, President and CEO of Nissan Mexicana, NIBU and INFINITI.



“This cause, moreover, is not strange to Nissan, since we have collaborators with hearing loss in our plants. It fills us with pride to be able to participate and contribute to reducing the inequality gap in access to health for Mexico”, added Román


For his part, Alejandro Vargasexecutive president of MVS CAPITAL, mentioned that: “Et is very important for us to ensure the hearing health of the Mexican population; today, we have served more than 69 thousand people throughout the country and we go for more. This Mobile Unit that we received from Nissan will allow us to continue sharing the joy of listening, by donating more hearing aids in vulnerable communities with little accessibility”.
