TO Marc Márquez He still has one more year left on his contract. And as the Honda stands, it could be another year of ordeal. Because the one from Cervera spends more time on the ground than on the bike. No one pilots that machine. Let alone be among the best times on the grid.
Alex Márquez, his brother, has given him several pieces of advice after the Dutch Grand Prix: “I am not going to enter into that decision. I think it is something that, like every pilot, has to feel at that moment…”.
“He has a contract, as he has said. So, there are already many more things there. I would never recommend that you break a contract. You have to follow your instinct and do what you feel at the time, like I felt that last year,” says Alex.
He wanted to leave Honda and opted for ducati: “I already said it last year, that I wanted to get out of there. There was a moment when I said that I was going out and I didn’t have a motorcycle, but it was very clear that I wanted to get out of there.”
And, above all, he hopes that his brother can recover as soon as possible: “Let him recover physically, which is the most screwed up”. Marc was unable to run after the falls on Saturday and the report from the doctors.
Now, with the MotoGP summer break, Márquez hopes to be able to forget about the injuries and get back to being physically fit. Yes indeed, if the falls continue on your return it will be impossible for him to compete in good condition.
