Ourense Rally it could end in tragedy after a car caught fire when it crashed into a sign. The images are impressive, the driver Aleksandr Semenov lost control of his Peugeot 208 Rally 4 in a curve and ended up crashing into a pole.
In principle, the accident was quite spectacular but it didn’t seem to be more serious than usual. However, seconds after impact, flames began to erupt violently from under the vehicle scaring those who had approached to evacuate the pilot.
Despite the voracity of the fire Semenov was able to get out of the car in time. Fortunately there are no fatalities to be regretted but several people have been injured by burns.
