And it is that parallel to the fact that the first purely electric model of Alfa Romeo arrives in the middle of next year, the permanence of the cloverleaf division has been confirmed, whose future models -which will replace the Giulia and the Stelvio- will enjoy interesting featuresbut now from the “green corner”.
The above was stated in an interview by Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of Alfa Romeo, to the Australian media, CarSalesnoting that upcoming electrified Quadrifoglio vehicles will deploy 900 to 1,000 Hp, which will eventually be achieved with the use of new, more efficient battery technology.
In addition, Imparato pointed out the importance of additional benefits such as the reduction of weights in the batteries, as well as the capacity of charge by induction and the efficiency of the same. The executive assured that these developments will take place in a period of three years, thus ensuring the competitiveness of Alfa Romeo in the electric wave.
