Artificial intelligence software GPT-2 wrote a theater play

The artificial intelligence of Open AI, named GPT-2, of which Elon Musk is one of the founders, has made another remarkable event. Artificial intelligence software GPT-2 has written a theater play. Supporting the project, the playwright David Kostak, whose work is "A kind of futuristic Little Prince." In 1921, a science fiction game in which the word robot was first used was written. The world famous Czech writer Karel Capek wrote this play. A hundred years have passed since Karel Capek wrote the play. In a century, technology has gone further than ever, the word robot has now turned into a word we hear several times a day rather than a word we encounter once. The artificial intelligence of the company, of which Elon Musk is one of the founders, wrote a theater play to celebrate the centennial of the science fiction game in which the word robot is mentioned.

60-MINUTE GAME BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The artificial intelligence firm Open AI, of which Elon Musk is one of the founders, wrote a 60-minute game, called GPT-2. Until now, this language prediction model has been used to write fake news, short stories and poems. The team that developed it said this game was the first theatrical production of GPT-2. Although the playwright David Kostak, who supervised the project, described the script as "Some kind of futuristic Little Prince", the play was named "Artificial Intelligence: If a Robot Writes a Theater Text".

RESEARCHERS GIVE THE SENTENCES

The language prediction model of GPT-2 works by completing the sentences given by the researchers. For example, the researchers in this project gave the artificial intelligence the words "Hello, I am a robot, and it is a great pleasure to invite you to the game I wrote." In the continuation of these sentences, he brought software and a theatrical text appeared. How is the quality of the output text?

THE TALKING PERSON HAS TURNED FROM A MALE TO A WOMAN

The software can forget the rest of the text after a few sentences, write contradictory statements. It is said that the artificial intelligence that wrote this game forgot that the main character is a robot, not a human. Rudolf Rosa, a computational linguist from Prague University who worked on the project, says that sometimes in the middle of a dialogue, the speaker turns from a man to a woman. Another expert explains the reason for this. Chad DeChant, an artificial intelligence expert at Columbia University, points out that these contradictions and 'forgetfulness' in the software are due to the software's inability to really grasp the meaning of the sentences. Saying he was looking forward to watching the game, DeChat says the software only lists the words that are likely to be used together.

10 PERCENT HUMAN RESPONSE

The researchers share the information that some points were corrected by intervening in the writing process. 90 percent of the text was left untouched, and human intervention was included in 10 percent of the text.
