Aston Martin is one of those brands that dares with everything, at least in terms of design. We have already seen all kinds of collaborations beyond the automotive world, which has been its specialty for more than a century. Some have something to do with it, as is the case with his AMB 001 motorcycle, but others have nothing to do with it. It is the case of the luxury house they have designed in Japanbeing the first of these characteristics in the Asian continent and establishing an interesting precedent for Gaydon’s firm.
In this case, they have teamed up with the Japanese specialist, Vibroa, to create the 001 Minami Aoyama, a house located in Omotesando, one of the most prominent areas of Tokyo. It is a luxury home that consists of four floors and has facilities such as a roof terrace, a garage for several vehicles, a wine cellar, a cinema, a gym or a private spa. All this always combined with the stylistic philosophy of Aston Martin. It has already been sold to a private buyer and is expected to be ready for November 2023.
It is not the first time that the brand has entered the real estate sector, as they have already built the Aston Martin Residences in Miami (97% sold) or the private urbanization Sylvan Rock. However, it is the first foray into asia, a different market and with very particular tastes. The exterior design of this house at 001 Minami Aoyama was done by a local architect and designers from Aston, with mark reichman to the head. The idea was to apply architectural forms with clean lines and perfectly integrated in that area of Tokyo.
On the other hand, inside they have sought to create a “quiet and relaxing space in which to take refuge”. All the furniture have been specially selected to be consistent with the project. The materials are of the highest quality, following the standards that Aston Martin also meets in the manufacture of its vehicles. draws attention to role of the garagein which a Valkyrie and a Vantage are exhibited, since the vehicles can be seen from the dining room through a window.
The truth is that the price of this luxury living from Aston Martin and Vibroa has not been made official, but there is talk that its owner has had to pay around 20.72 million euros (3,000 million yen) to get hold of this very exclusive house.
