Two years before debuting with minardi in Formula 1, Fernando Alonso He dazzled in the world of karting and captured all the eyes of the greats of the ‘Great Circus’.
23 years later and after having won two world championships and three runners-up, the Spaniard is in more spirit than ever to continue and is confident that he will once again have the chance to win at the hands of a exciting project with Aston Martin.
In full preseason and after learning that will be in Jerez to complete some tests with the AMR22Alonso has dazzled his followers with a video of 1999.
It is a cut of Margutti Parma Trophy in which it is measured against Gianluca Beggio. In it you can see how a very young Fernando takes the Italian’s aspiration perfectly and passes him through the inside of the curve.
In fact, it is reminiscent of another overtaking this season to Sebastian Vettel at the Spanish Grand Prix in Montmeló.
23 years later, same tactic and identical execution of the two-time champion to pass his rival in the middle of the curve. The magic does not perish.
