Subscriptions are catching on in many sectors, such as gyms, streaming sites, newspapers on-line and even in the automotive world.

It is precisely the premium brands that have begun to propose monthly payment solutions for certain services of your vehicles. Examples of this are better benefits, greater autonomy and even heated seats.

This last case has been advocated by BMW, which has launched it in some markets, such as the British. Here, he charges 15 pounds (17 euros) per month for certain models. Dacia, in a marketing action that aims to laugh at proposals like these, has decided to express its opposition to some car companies offering subscriptions to functions integrated into vehicles by offering free hot water bottles.

Thus, between February 1 and 2, anyone has been able to pick up a Dacia branded hot water bottle at Dacia dealerships in Brent Cross (London), Trinity Way (Manchester) and Fendrod Way (Swansea) calling them ‘heated seat saviours’.

And he added: “Our ‘Heated Seat Savers’ are funbut they highlight the direction the broader industry is taking when it comes to accessing subscription features.”
