Fernando Alonso has revealed in ‘Jugones’ the reasons why he changed Alpine for Aston Martin. One of them is the “games” that the French played when facing their renewal. Also, of course, that “ambition” that he now has in the green team.
“At Alpine we had Little stability in our bosses. A lot of things have changed”, said the Asturian pilot, pointing to the direction of the French team.
And he denounces the “games” that they used with their renewal: “At the time of renewal there was always some game with the test driver (Oscar Piastri) they were also playing with him. They played two cards.”
Alonso thus points out one of the reasons that made him leave Alpine: “There was a little lack of ambition…”.
Now the Asturian has not bitten his tongue in ‘Jugones’: “To win in the future I think I’m in a better place now than before.”
