We already warned a few days ago that the new electric supercars that are arriving would be breaking all kinds of records for their capabilities. We have already seen how the Rimac Nevera reached 412 km/h as maximum speed and today we are going to talk about the brutal acceleration marks from another specimen of similar cut. In this case we travel directly to Dubai to see how the car of one of the most charismatic designers behaves in a straight line. And it is that he Pininfarina Battista seems like he has a lot to say.
This example, which was presented in 2019, surprised at the time for its design, exclusivity (limited to 150 units) and performance. with nothing less than 1,900 hp and 2,340 Nm of torque, promised to have incredible benefits, although we have had to wait until now to know its final numbers. The first has been an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 1.86 secondsbeating some direct rivals and falling below the precious two seconds.
Although things do not stop there, because the Battista has also recorded other figures as surprising as the acceleration of 0 to 200 km/h in 4.79 seconds, in addition to braking within the reach of very few. During his dynamic debut at the Dubai Autodrome (United Arab Emirates) it was possible to see how the 100 to 0 km/h in just 31 meters, something that has merit in an electric car with heavy batteries. At the moment, their abilities have only been shown in a straight line, but surely this model can contribute much more.
With the 120 kWh battery supplied by Rimac that allows you to approve a autonomy of up to 476 kilometers, there is still a question about the distance it could cover with such powerful accelerations. What is clear is that the Pininfarina Battista is going to be a benchmark among electric supercars. It takes around 1,250 hours to make each of them by hand, which is why its production is limited to 150 copies and it is priced from €2.2 million (before taxes).
