The rivalry between lewis hamilton and max verstappen has been one of the most brutal, controversial and evened of the last years. Both only fought for one year for the World Cup, but they left some of the images further iconic of the competition.
In 2021they arrived tied to points to the last race and, as if that were not enough, the world championship was decided on the last lap of the race due to a Safety Car caused by latifi.
However, despite the great rivalry between the two, the two are of the best pilots of the history of the competition. For this reason, practically any team would dream of forming a double with both pilots.
He has spoken precisely about this possibility Christian Hornerteam leader Red Bullin some statements collected by ‘RacingNews365’: “In order to pay for those two pilots, we would probably have to sell the factory!“.
Even so, years ago the brand of energy drinks was already interested in to incorporate to the british to his rows and form an even more competitive duo.
“There has been a couple of occasions in history in which we have had a couple of conversations about the possibility of him joining Red Bullbut that hasn’t been anytime recently,” Horner says.
