After almost 4 years, Nissan presents the update of the eighth generation Sentra (fifth in Mexico)which, although it does not boast dramatic changes, does have some novelties that are worth highlighting.
Let’s start with the aesthetic section where the Nissan Sentra 2024, stands out for incorporating a new revamped V-motion grille with horizontal patterns, chrome trim and new black bezel headlamps. The result is slightly cleaner, but also sportier.
Depending on the version, specific aesthetic elements such as 16-inch alloy wheels can be added, while the SR version does the same with 18-inch wheels. The respective insignia cannot be missing, as well as the black roof and rear spoiler.

Inside, we have new orange finishes. Regarding the infotainment system, this is made up of an eight-inch screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android. The flat-based steering wheel stands out, as well as the round air vents inspired by the nissan z.
In terms of equipment, we have two-zone automatic A/C, sunroof, instrument panel with screen in the center, reversing camera, as well as forward collision alerts. While driver alert smart warnings, smart cruise control and tire pressure monitor are available as extras.
With the SV Premium trim, you can access a smart monitor for peripheral vision, an eight-speaker Bose Premium audio system and exterior mirrors with indicator lights.

under the chest, the Sentra keeps its 2.0-liter inline-four. It continues to make 149 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque, but a new Xtronic CVT transmission was added, which the brand says makes the smoothest shifts. This along with the stop/start system should result in greater fuel efficiency.
The new 2024 Nissan Sentra will start sales in the United States this summer. Manufactured in Mexico, this car should do the same in our country during the last quarter of this year.
