Nissan would have its own versions of the new Renault Duster and Bigster

After the announcement they made Renault and Nissan in which was included the continuity of Frontier/Alaskan and the production of the new Oroch (with its Japanese twin) in Argentina, the Alliance advances by announcing that it will do the same with its small SUVs.

The new ad is targeted at India and anticipates 6 modelsthree per brand, of which two will be popular electric vehicles and the others, SUVs.

According to the statements of Ashwani Gupta, Nissan’s chief operating officerthe two new models would be positioned above Dusters, although the platform would be the CMF-B, which suggests that it is talking about the successor of that model. The second would be your 7-seat variant which was anticipated by concept Bigster from which it could take its name.

In our region the plan should be the same, or similar, but with production in Brazil and Colombia. So far we know that the projects of the new Sandero and Logan with the CMF-B platform have been cancelled, but a new crossover will be made instead, to go to the fight with Nivus.

A B-segment SUV with 7 seats would be ideal and surely Duster also has its well-deserved generation replacement. What will happen to Capture?

In Mexico, in the past we already had some Renaults under the Nissan logo. The clearest examples were Platina and Aprio.

And the versions of Nissan?

Doing a bit of memory, the first generation duster (B0 platform) already sold in some markets under the badge of nissanusing a classic brand name, Terrano, so that name could easily be used.

Which one would your older brother get? Grand Terran? Mistral? X-Terra?
