The third edition of the Autocosmos Awards It ended. After receiving all the votes from our followers, we finally have the results, which have been simply and simply spectacular. But above all reaffirming that, Thanks to our followers, we remain one of the leading media outlets in our industry.
The winner in the 2022 Luxury Car of the Year category is the Porsche Taycan GTS. With 24.58%, this German electric surpassed Lexus ES (18.46%), Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan (17.45%), Audi A3 Sedan (13.64%) and BMW 2 Series Coupé (11.03%); all high-end participants regardless of whether they are electrified models or not. We also highlight the good role of Lexus, given the short time it has participated in the luxury segment in our country.

- You could vote as many times as you wanted; the system had a block for bot campaigns.
- The survey ran from December 1 to December 31.
Luxury Car of the Year: Porsche Taycan GTS
It is no secret that in the luxury ranges borders on perfection in each of the sectors that a vehicle can be evaluated and, in this sense, Porsche put all its experience and technology available in the development of the spectacular Porsche Taycan, model whose GTS variant offers 505 kilometers of autonomy and a literally electrifying performance: 590 Hp with Over Boost (440 kW), 250 km/h top speed and 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
In addition to the brutal display of power with the Launch Control function, as well as the high level of finishes, another of the evolutions that most surprised us in this electrified luxury was the panoramic roof with liquid crystal capable of changing the level of lucidity. Porsche Taycan GTS sets the bar very high in the segment and, at that level of quality, electrification is just a “plus”.
