Porsche and Microsoft have just launched a limited edition of the Xbox Series Xs consoleswhich have all the classic image of Porsche racing cars.
During the 75 years of its existence, Porsche has created some of the most impressive racing cars, and they have been adorned with one of the most memorable “racing liveries” (liveries of racing in Spanish, paint designs on the bodywork) of the history. Now Xbox consoles share that image.

Together the brands have created six models for the Xbox that honor three liveries that they graced the Porsche 917 that raced at LeMans (Salzburg and Hippie in 1970, Pink Pig in 1971). The 1978 Porsche Racing Edition 935/78 (Martini), the 1988 Porsche 911 GT1 and most recently, the Porsche 963 that competed at LeMans.

“Xbox and its fan base are no strangers to Porsche and the incredible capabilities of its high-performance vehicles, as they are present in our racing games like Forza Horizon 5,” said Marcos Waltenberg, director of global partnerships for Xbox. “That’s why we’re excited to team up with the renowned sports car brand to create a special edition Xbox, which celebrates its big anniversary, along with our shared vision. and the goal of reaching global audiences who love cars, video games and self-expression.”

As you can see in the images, the liveries have been reinterpreted to fit the box of the consoles and will also be seen in the controls. Microsoft will not be selling these limited edition Xboxes, they will only be available in various raffles held only in the US, UK and Germany.
