The Avenger received the maximum score of 21 of the 57 jurors who decide this award thanks to their qualities. The Volkswagen ID.Buzz could not do more than be in second position with 16 top scores from the jury and 241 points. Not too far behind was the Nissan Ariya, which closed the podium with 211 points. Very close to third place was the Kia Niro, with 200 points. The 2023 European Car of the Year list was closed by the Renault Austral with 163 points, the Peugeot 408 with 149 points and the Subaru Solterra / Toyota bZ4X duo with 133 points.
