Sebastian Vettel could return to Red Bull… instead of Helmut Marko

The engine expert ted kravitz has revealed an option on the table regarding the future of Sebastian Vettel: be adviser of Red Bull.

He retired last season after a good second phase of the season with Aston Martin. The four-time world champion decided to get away from the wheel to reinvent himself, and Fernando Alonso took his place.

The German has been seen by the ‘paddock’ along with Christian Horner on several occasions.

Who was his boss in some way would see his incorporation well: “He was a huge part of our team...it was a pleasure working with him“, he said on ‘Car and Driver’.

“It has probably been the hardest working pilot i have come across“, he confessed.

The British journalist, Kravitz insists on a possibility: “It is possible that we will see a Sebastian Vettel surprise return this year but it will not be as a pilot”, assumed.

“I think that will replace Helmut Marko as motorsport advisor“, explained in ‘MotorsportWeek’.

Before those who trust that he will drive again, Ted has dispelled the doubts: “Really I think he’s decided not to drive anymore and as a man of integrity, as I know he is, I don’t think I’m going to let everyone down by saying ‘ahh, you know what? I wasn’t honest,” he added.

Sebastian Vettel would work overseeing the driver development program at Red Bull.

Marko is currently in charge of this work, but at 79 everything indicates that his stage will come to an end: “I am a free person and I can stop at any time if I am not happy anymore“, he said on ‘Speedweek’.
