Last weekend the 30th edition of the “Goodwood Festival of Speed” one of the most important events of the year for car enthusiasts.
The history of this festival began in 1993 thanks to Lord March (Charles Gordon-Lennox) who acquired the estate where his Goodwood castle is located, a racecourse and the section of the “Hill Climb” to be able to return the motorsport spectacle that hosted great events between 1948 and 1966.

In this, its 30th edition, we had the opportunity to be present and enjoy together with thousands of fans the most historic sports vehicles and witness a wide variety of cars from Formula 1, WRC, WEC, Classics and Circuit, who completed the journey to the top of the hill.
This year the leading brand was the German Porsche, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary since it launched the Porsche 356this is the fourth time that the manufacturer has this status at Goodwood, visitors were able to be part of this party seasoned with authentic luxury and a large number of units, the most select of the German brand and that belong mostly to the signature museum.

The Porsche Experience stand was also a protagonist where the Mission X was seen a spectacular reinterpretation of a hypercar, with Le Mans-style doors and an efficient, high-performance electric powertrain. Another who was seen was the Mexican pilot Esteban Gutiérrez at the steering wheel of the Mercedes Benz-AMG F1 W12 and an emotional moment to see Mick Schumacher aboard his father Michael Schumacher’s Mercedes W02 F1 wearing the iconic red helmet of the German driver.
For the first time in the festival’s history, strong winds forced the festival to be canceled on Saturday, however, the program resumed as normal on Sunday to continue the party of this already emblematic festival.
