Will someone manage to do “the impossible” of Red Bull? “We all have a lot of photos…”

Copy. The verb that nobody wants to pronounce in F1… but what is being talked about so much this season. First, with Aston Martinaccusing both Red Bull as AlphaTauri to the British of having plagiarized the RB18. And now, especially now, after seeing the flat bottom of Sergio Pérez’s RB19 in Monaco.

Because the Principality Grand Prix was curious to say the least. It was the place where we could see cars, literally, flying. By crane, but flying. And yes, the floors of the single-seaters were completely exposed. The Mercedes was one, but the one everyone is talking about is the Red Bull.

This is rightly so, because the Austrians are the great dominators of the automobile course full of victories between Verstappen and Perez. And of course the rest of the teams want the same.

He wants something that, according to Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur, is completely “impossible.” He has expressed it like this in words that are collected in ‘Motorsport’.

“Trying to copy something like that…”

“Trying to copy something like that is very complicated. I can say that it is even impossible“, it states.

And he explains it: “It’s something conceptand if you only copy a part it will not be enough”.

“Yes, we all have a lot of pictures from other cars, but…”, insists the great boss of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.

Unless radical change…

It seems that in Ferrari they have been time analyzing thoroughly everything related to Red Bull. Everything related to a car that has no rival in practically not a single section at this start of the World Cup in which, directly, they are sweeping.

They don’t care about fast, slow curve or top speed. Whatever it is, and whatever it is, the RB19 It is an unbeatable car that, except for a mechanical problem, the rest can only see from afar.

It remains to be seen what happens after the summer break and after the teams have their respective evolutions and advances. History will have to change a lot for there to be a World Cup beyond Red Bull…
