Carlos Sainz can be the great cover of the Formula 1 World Cup in 2023. After a year marked by his adaptation to Ferrari and by the reliability issues from a car that went from more to much less in the championship, the man from Madrid is keen and feels prepared for anything.
Because the first year after the rule change is over. And because the car with its evolutions and changes, It is a Ferrari that has already been done.
So, now you can push from the start to also earn be number 1 of the mythical team and put up a fight against Verstappen and the Mercedes of Hamilton and Russell.
“I feel more confident after everything from last year,” says Sainz in words that gather in ‘GPFans’.
And he continues: “I feel more capable, better prepared… I know I can fight the best. I know what I have to do, and I feel ready.”
“But I always say the same thing. They all want to win. Everyone is ready”, Sainz points out.
The Ferrari, a priori, looks good. The Italians recovered last year from several quite low seasons in terms of performance and results, and for much of the World Cup they had the best car of the entire grill.
However, they did not hit the key in the evolutions, and with the passing of the races they not only lost camber with Red Bull but Mercedes surpassed them.
