His driving style has changed since his four surgeries on his right arm. A less risky style, but with which he has still suffered several scares in the form of a fall. Stefan Bradl he believes that “aggressiveness” shown in the past will no longer return.
This is what he stated in ‘Speedweek’: “Marc can’t exploit his strengths on the current bike like I used to.”
“He always has to work with too much risk. He realizes that he will never be able to keep the risk that high in the long term. He has to reduce more and trust the bike more,” explains Bradl.
“Accidents have always been part of his approach. But it’s not getting younger. Competition has intensified considerably,” he says.
Bradl also leaves a little message for Honda, whom he accuses of “not having the courage” to carry out the necessary changes: “Honda has never been at the forefront from that experimentation as Ducati has done in recent years… Honda lacks some courage to experiment.”
“Ducati has shown courage because it has introduced constant changes in equipment and aerodynamics. Yamaha has also lagged a bit behind,” he said.
