When we tried the new Range Rover we were captivated by its level of quality, its high technology or the almost unbeatable driving comfort. It is clear that there are very few models that are up to it and that is why it is not within the reach of all pockets. Although there is always room for extra exclusivity in the range, judging by the launch of the Range Rover SV Lansdowne Edition. It is a very limited edition and full of specific details.
The exterior of this specimen can be distinguished by having the painted bodywork Lansdowne Gray Gloss, a tone made exclusively for this edition. In contrast are the roof and the mirrors, in the color Corris Gray Gloss. On the other hand, a series of exterior details appear in SV Anthracite and Graphite Atlaswhile mounting some 23-inch forged wheels in black with gray inserts. The emblems are handcrafted by renowned jeweller, Fattorini, from two pieces of black chrome plated metal.
To all of the above, we must add the laser-engraved logos of the brand and the SV Bespoke headlights. The interior of the Range Rover SV Lansdowne Edition will not be left behind either, as it presents a aniline leather upholstery with diagonal stitch embroidery in SV Bespoke Rosewood and ebony. Some finishes are in black anodized metal, others in Moonlight Chrome and the controls are satin black ceramic. The mats are in ebony mohair with leather trim and the door sills are illuminated.
This special edition is based on the top of the range edition, the P530. It has under the hood a 4.4-liter V8 engine which delivers no less than 530 CV, so its benefits will be very outstanding. So has been its presentation at the brand’s flagship boutique in London’s Mayfair. The Range Rover SV Lansdowne Edition is an edition limited to only 16 units which will be marketed in the UK.
