When will Fernando Alonso drive the Aston Martin again?

Fernando Alonso rolled in the Jerez test last Tuesday. On Wednesday Lance Stroll was in charge of driving the Aston Martin in the Pirelli test. This is how the tests of the green team ended, the last ones before the official preseason.

The Spaniard went to the circuit first thing in the morning and dozens of fans came to the surroundings who even tried to sneak in. two young they dressed as toilets and they recounted their experience in ‘Jugones’: “We have dressed as toilets…”. Neither Pirelli nor Aston Martin released details of Alonso’s testing. The two-time F1 champion rolled with the AMR22 just as it happened in Abu Dhabi after the end of the World Cup (with the car of Sebastian Vettel).

Alonso will reappear publicly at the presentation of the car, which will be next Monday (8 pm) at the Silverstone factory.

When will it roll again?

To see Alonso at the wheel again, we will have to wait for the preseason, already in Bahrain. They will be held from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 February at the Sakhir circuit.

The tests will be extended from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and they can be followed live on ‘DAZN’.

The season starts the following weekend on the same stage. A litmus test for all the teams, who will no longer have a margin for error from Saturday’s classification.
