It was anticipated that the Asian firm had a project for a fully electrified heavy-duty vehicle on its hands; In fact, the issue of JAC commercial vehicles already involves some markets, however, from China, JAC Motors has announced its new global electric tractor truck.
The JAC HFC4259SEV01 (as it is called), is a 6×4 configured tractor capable of dragging almost 40 tons placed in a segment called American Class 8 which, from the outset, would put it in direct competition with the Tesla Semi, of course, at first glance, you can see clear differences such as the paint design, or the rest cabin of larger proportions, although some lines are just as futuristic.
For its development, JAC partnered with Lionbridge, Baidu, Suzhou Green Control and CATL, who by the way is in charge of providing the batteries for the JAC HFC4259SEV01; These are its benefits:

At the moment, the JAC HFC4259SEV01 could only be destined for the Brazilian market, at least until it eventually expands its range of autonomy that limits it to ports and internal transport only; remember that the Tesla Semi has already completed a journey of 800 kilometers with load.
