It is hard to find in the ‘Great Circus’ an authoritative voice that does not give in to Fernando Alonso and his trajectory. At the age of 41, the two-time world champion in Formula 1 has enrolled in what may be his last adventure in the category of hand of Aston Martin.

The objective, as always, is to win, but in this case the Silverstone team is giving solid reasons to believe that the evolution can be remarkable.

Analyzing his performance in statements to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, Mika Hakkinentwo-time F1 champion in 1998 and 1999, has had a greater impact on his “nice personality” rather than in his “fighter” character.

“It’s fantastic, really big. It’s nice to see that Fernando can keep pushing like this and to see him perform at this level, it’s something really big,” said the Finn.

“What I like the most about Alonso? First of all, he is a nice personality, a good boy. And he’s definitely a great fighter!“explains the former Lotus and McLaren.

“He always has his feet on the board. He’s a winner, a real winner! And I think he has a great personality“, has added.

Regarding Alonso’s career, Häkkinen affirms that it is “difficult” to judge his career due to the evolution of his decisions.

“He has been looking for and finding solutions throughout his career, changing teams, although it is difficult to judge if in the right place and the right timebut to have been in this business for a long time it is necessary to have a very special personality, which is what he has”, the two-time champion concluded.
