A small German company has just introduced the Ari 902, the self-described smallest electric commercial vehicle in the world.
In recent times, we are used to the launch of new small electric cars coming from China, but Europe also exists.
Proof of this are automotive companies such as Ari Motors, a German company that specializes in manufacturing small commercial vehicles and focused on eminently urban tasks.

The latest addition to its range is not exactly a van, but more of a utility, yes, electric and with a commercial focus. Baptized as Ari 902, its dimensions are very contained: it measures less than 3 meters, exactly 2.97 m.
This does not prevent this two-seater from having a spectacular load space of 766 liters capacity. All that cargo space doesn’t really translate to payload capacity though, as it can only carry up to 190kg.

It is more designed to transport flowers, pizzas and small packages than bricks and cement. Its 20 hp (15 kW) electric motor won’t set the car any speed records, but together with the built-in battery it provides up to 200 km autonomywhich is one of its great virtues.
Although the Ari 902 is designed from the ground up as a delivery commercial, does not skimp on equipment. It has a digital instrument display and even a reversing camera.

Optionally, can incorporate air conditioning, power steering, sign recognition system of traffic and a lane keeping assistant. The list of additional equipment continues with roof racks, a glass roof and a solar panel.
The Ari 902 part of the 13,990 euros for the basic model. The Comfort version, the highest in the range, raises the price to 16,190 euros and, with all the options, easily touches 17,000 euros.
