Aston Martin buys Fernando Alonso’s speech: Are they covered up?

Antonio Lobato surprised a few days ago by stating that, although in Formula 1 there are no miracles, if you see that Aston Martin I can carry out one this season 2023.

In fact, the F1 narrator sees the Silverstone team behind Red Bullbut ahead of Mercedes and of Ferrari.

However, despite the illusion that is exuding among the fans and the fear that creeps into the paddock, from within the team they choose to remain calm.

Fernando Alonso has already said on several occasions that the goal for 2023 is to take a step forward, improve the result of 2022 and reach 2024 with options to fight for the title. And that speech has been bought by the team.

Mike Krack, boss of Aston Martin, has paraphrased the Spaniard stating that despite his great ‘stint’ in Bahrain, the goal is “To be in front of the sixth or seventh car, improve on last year.”

“It wasn’t bad, it’s true, but the track conditions were very good. There was a lot of rubber, other teams were on new tires and that helps. But everything in its context. Fernando has said it, there are no miracles in Formula 1“, he explained in statements collected by ‘As’.

“That’s the dynamic, but we have to keep our feet on the ground. The expectations are high at this time of the year and we all want to do well. We have the clear objective of improving what we did last yearbut that’s all,” he added.

About the favourite, he has no doubts: “Red Bull is ahead. And I think the three ‘top’ teams are very strong. I don’t know if the others have put their cards on the table. The Alfa Romeo is strong, Haas did very good laps. They are all very good teams and have done their homework in winter. It will be a very tough fight.”

Of course, Krack affirms that in the tests they have fulfilled one of their great objectives: “Has an aggressive approach, with the spending ceiling and the intensity of the races you have to start with a good base. That was one of the goals.”

“You never feel well preparedthere is a list of tasks that we have to work on, because the tests only have three days and in the race there are many things that can go wrong”, he concluded.
