For many people, driving is much more than completing the distance that separates point A from point B. Driving is synonymous with freedom, sensations and enjoyment behind the wheel. At least, it used to be with some cars. It is perfectly understandable that these people find it more uncomfortable to travel as a companion than as a driver. However, there are always exceptions, and here we have found ours when testing the Audi A8 recently.
We must clarify that we did not test any A8, since it was the L 60 TFSIe version. That translates into a extended battle example, which is the one that reaches 5,320 mm in length thanks to its 3,128 mm wheelbase. And it is precisely the first detail that has made us doubt whether it is better to drive this vehicle or travel in their excellent rear seats. It is a true delight to sit in the second row, which has two individual seats optionally to improve comfort.

It has 462 CV of power and up to 60 kilometers of electric autonomy. And most importantly, a enviable ride quality. That is the reason that drags us to continue in the rear seats and does not let us get out of there. Any trip is truly comfortable from the inside, perfectly soundproofed and with filtered sensations thanks to outstanding air suspension.
whatthe rest of the car? Well, the design is quite sober, as well as elegant. It has a really technological interior with outstanding quality. The trunk is not bad, although access to the bottom is complicated. And the driving is pleasant, but too filtered. Therefore, whoever spends the more than 120,000 euros that costs This car probably spends more time in those rear seats and is another one that changes the steering wheel for the sake of enjoyment.
