The new BMW X2 and its iX2 electric variant are already on the way and should appear towards the end of this year or the beginning of 2024.. This information was made official by the brand at the BMW Group 2023 Annual Conference held in mid-March, and then by the head of the Regensburg (Bavaria) factory, according to the Motor1 portal, who indicated that the electric crossover will be assembled together with the iX1.

The brand has invested around 350 million euros in adapting the factory near Munichsince it is estimated that by 2024, one in three vehicles that leave these production lines will be electric, while the other two thirds will be combustion X1 and X2.
Little has been written about the new X2 so far, but there are some spy photos circulating and it is rumored that it will lose its current hatchback silhouette raised to accommodate a larger model and with a coupe-like silhouette, to follow the line of the X4/X6 range.
