BMW Concept Touring Coupé, the dream of a Z3 M Coupé come true

BMW Concept Touring Coupé, the dream of a Z3 M Coupé come true

There are many iconic cars in the history of BMW. And if you were one of those who liked the Z3 M Coupé, with a silhouette style shooting brake now the brand rescues him with the BMW Concept Touring Coupe, now created on the basis of the BMW Z4. It is presented at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, an ideal setting to show off spectacular design concepts, with luxury and style.

In this event that is held on the shores of Lake Como in Italy you will be able to see this unique, handmade model. The Bavarian brand talks about several models that served as inspiration, in addition to the Z3 M Coupé, such as the BMW 328 Touring Coupé that won the Mille Miglia in 1940 or the BMW 02 Series Touring from the 70s.

The front stands out for its very long hood, very similar to that of the Z4 but which boasts details in silvery bronze, matching the special paint in which the body is painted. Sparking Lariocreated exclusively for the BMW Concept Touring Coupé, in shades of gray and brown with embedded blue crystal flakes.

On the side the Hofmeister crease is very present and the side gills behind the front fender are striking. It has 20 and 21-inch light-alloy wheels of exclusive design and a small golden touch under the flared wheel arches. But without a doubt the most spectacular thing is the rear, with a very inclined rear window and a spoiler with two folds at the ends, to which is added another duck-tail type that gives shape to the gate. In the lower part, a large diffuser with two rectangular exhaust outlets at the ends.

Inside, it opts for an environment with a two-tone finish from the Italian Poltrona Frau leather workshop, with the upper area in dark brown to make it easier to focus on driving and a lighter lower area to offer more warmth and comfort. There is no shortage of perforations and braided leather strips on the seat skirts and sliding bar.

The interior is completed by a group of matching suitcases, designed exclusively for this model designed by the leather maker Schedoni of Modena. It is made up of two large bags and a small one for weekend trips, as well as a garment bag.
