Presented a few months ago in Brazil, The new Chevrolet Tracker RS 2024 reaches our market, increasing the number of versions available for this SUV. In addition, a kind of justice is done, since finally this model has an aesthetic that is in keeping with its good dynamic slope. Let’s find out all the details below.
For a start, As usually happens in the RS versions, in the mechanical section there are no major changes. Thus, under the hood of this compact SUV there is a 1.2 L Turbo three-cylinder engine, which generates a power of 130 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Where if there is news, it is in the aesthetic section where we find exclusive elements in black such as roof rails, sports grill, 17” aluminum wheels, exterior mirrors, and Chevrolet emblems. The enthusiastic aesthetic is complemented by the rear spoiler and LED headlamps.
Inside, it maintains elements such as the panoramic roof, OnStar personalized assistance system with Wi-Fi connectivity to simultaneously connect up to 7 devices, engine start with a button or remotely from the MyChevrolet application, four USB ports and 6 speakers. The infotainment system consists of an 8” touchscreen with Smartphone Integration and Bluetooth for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a wireless smartphone charger.
However, as it is the RS finish, This Tracker receives some extras such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a black Chevrolet logo, vinyl seats and a black dashboard with red details.
On safety issues, it has StabiliTrak electronic stability control, electronic traction control (TCS), ABS with EBD and BA brakes and 6 airbags. In addition, it offers a rear view camera, reverse sensors, cruise control, forward collision alert with distance indicator, imminent forward collision assistant and programmable speed alert.
