youJust one day after two units were photographed in Brazil, Citroën presented the updated C4 Cactus in Argentina, the B-SUV that became its sales pillar both in our country and in Brazil until the arrival of the new C3. To keep its Sport Utility up to date, which came to lead its segment on several occasions during the last year and achieved more than 17% market share, the French brand announced that it will introduce several new features in the coming months, starting now with the Feel version. , entry-level.
On an aesthetic level, the new 16” alloy wheels stand out, with two finishing alternatives: diamond-coated or black Onyx depending on the color of the bodywork. On the other hand, it also adds details in the Orange Pearl tone around the fog lights, in the side Airbumps, in the C-pillar stickers and in the identifying badge located on the tailgate. In turn, the new Artense Gray color is incorporated into the palette of body colors.
Inside the doors there are slight changes: it received a new design and new fabrics in the upholstery of the seats; complementing itself with the incorporation of a new customization on the front door panels, also in Black Onyx. In terms of equipment, the Feel version adds cruise control, a reversing camera, a new center console with adjustable and sliding armrests to provide more comfort to the occupants regardless of their height or position in the seats. Plus, it adds two new USB ports: one in front of the new storage bin between the front seats and one in front of the second row. This latest connector is even close to a unique cable organizer, ideal for keeping cables tidy while rear passenger cell phones are plugged in.
Regarding safety, the Feel version now has 4 airbags, 2 front and 2 side in the front seats. Of course, other items such as stability control (ESP) and traction (TC), hill start assistance, ABS brakes with electronic brake distribution, Isofix anchorages, adjustable head restraints and 3-point inertial belts for all its occupants are maintained. .
Mechanically, this variant continues to be powered by the 1.6 VTi gasoline engine that develops 115 hp and 152 Nm of torque, coupled to the 5-speed manual gearbox. Later, an option with a 6-speed automatic gearbox will be incorporated as well as the top of the range with the 1.6 THP engine.
At the moment, Citroën did not report the price of the C4 Feel, it only reported that this version will be marketed through the savings plan and that the portfolio will be completed in the coming months.
