“It has been a very intense race, because they were 70 qualifying laps, there was no time to relax. In the first part of the race we lost position at the start with Lewis, then we tried to overtake him and that made the strategy a bit easier because we were in front,” said the two-time F1 champion.
“Then, in the end, we went with the tough ones and they with the medium ones, I think he had a little more rhythm and when I thought the race was going to end like this, second and third, we had to push to the limit again, they have been a very strong rival and a race to push all the time”, detailed the Aston Martin driver.
