Ferrari ‘condemns’ Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc to suffer: the improvements do not come

Neither of the two Ferraris, nor Carlos Sainz neither charles leclerchave been on the podium in the two Formula 1 World Cup races that have been held. In fact, the first driver in the standings is the Spaniard, fourth, ten points behind Fernando Alonso (30 with the Aston Martin).

Ferrari knows that it has a lot to improve. And prepare an important package, which however will not arrive in the short term. Not much less in the Australian Grand Prix, where it is expected that the two Maranello drivers will have to suffer again on the track with their SF23.

Those improvements will not arrive until Italy, that is, on Sunday, May 21. But before there are three races left: Australia, Azerbaijan and Miami.

Three circuits in which the Ferrari will not be able to compete with Red Bull and will have to ‘settle’ for fighting for the podium. Your rivals will be Aston Martin and the Mercedeswho took a step forward in Saudi Arabia.

Sainz already pointed out that they “knew” what they had to do to be on top: “We know where to develop the carwe just need time because of the weakness we saw in Bahrain.”

And those improvements could “change everything” although they will take time: “I am sure that this team is capable of bringing them at the beginning of the season, and this could completely change our season, so it is time to work hard.”

The poor performance of those from Maranello has caused an internal crisis, pointing to a Fred Vasseur who has just landed. He also fueled rumors of a hasty departure from Leclerc… putting lewis hamilton in the equation. Something that would become a tremendous bombshell for F1.
