There are few models that have had more special editions than the Alpine A110 in its few years of life. It is logical if we take into account that it is the only copy they have in their current range. Until they start their product offensive, which will be full of electrics, they have to put up with this formula. It is giving life to models like the Alpine A110 S Enstone Edition which has a clear English flavor and refers to the queen competition.
This limited series serves as a celebration of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Great Britain. This is because the team headquarters BWT Alpine F1 Team located in Enstone (United Kingdom), so they wanted to take advantage of the 30 years of experience they have in said competition. In fact, the most special thing about this vehicle is that it does use of the same carbon fiber used in the Alpine car for some of its components.
To find them you have to get into the cabin, because it is the visor that covers the instrument panel and the center console trim. In this interior, the numbered plate of the limited edition also stands out, since only 300 units will be made of this Alpine A110 S Enstone Edition. Each one will come with its corresponding certificate of authenticity and with that striking appearance. Because it is the only one that has a combination of matt two-tone bodywork, allowing the user to choose between two shades of grey.
On the outside you can also see the black roof that makes a contrast and that bears the british flag of the union jack in glossy black, a detail that can be chosen as an option. The series does come 18-inch wheels in GT Race design in matt black and gray Brembo brake calipers. To complete the decoration, it brings carbon fiber flags on the rear pillars and on the door panels.
We are not going to give too much importance to its mechanics, since it has the same as the rest of Alpine A110 S. The block of four cylinders and 1.8 liters in central position gets 300 CV of power to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 0.2 seconds and a top speed of 275 km/h with the optionally available aero kit. The price of this A110 S Enstone Edition in Spain is €88,500 and orders are already accepted.
