Fernando Alonso is eager. The double champion, smiling like few times before in the Formula 1, faces his 20th season in the Great Circus On this occasion, in the ranks of Aston Martin, a team with great projection that has everything that is needed to be champion in the future.
And to whom the arrival of a pilot like the Asturian has come in handy. Because Mike Krack, British Brand Boss, recognizes that Alonso’s spirit is making them go “forward”.
“Fernando pushes us. He keeps us progressing. We are always ready to do more. For that extra effort. This is the only way forward”, he said in words that are collected in ‘Motorsport’.
And he defines Alonso: “He is sincere, transparent, he has experience, he is fast… And I could go on talking about him!”
“If the car is not what we want it to be, there will be difficult moments. We will have to be prepared, because You cannot hide in front of Fernando Alonso. If it happens we will talk about it openly,” he insists.
As for the objectives, for now, grow together. The victories in 2023, just like Alonso said They do not seem to be something that is within the reach of Aston Martin, a team that in 2022 finished seventh in the World Cup with 66 points.
Another very different thing will be 2024. There everything will be with a greater demand and ambition, Well, at Aston Martin they are clear that they want to win and for this they are investing so many resources… and money.
