The news of return of Kim Cattrall to ‘And just like that’ (HBO Max) has caused quite a stir but, apart from the cameo of a single scene in which he talks on the phone without having any contact with the rest of the cast, the actress is going to release another series on Netflix. Is about ‘Glamourous’in which she plays the former supermodel Madolyn Addison who reinvents herself as a makeup magnate with her own company ‘Glamourous by Madolyn’ and who finds inspiration in Marco Mejía (Miss Benny) to revive her brand.
The platform has released the trailer for the series that will premiere soon and in which Cattrall shares the spotlight with Miss Benny. The actress plays Madolyn Addison, a makeup mogul and former model from the golden age of Supermodels. The chance meeting of Marco Mejía, a young queer professionally stagnant, with his beloved Addison will change his perspective on the future. When he asks her why she decided to create a make-up empire, she tells him “because no one thought she could do it.”

She offers him to work in her company and the experience will be the young person’s first opportunity to reflect on what he wants in his life, discover his true personality and find out what being queer means to him. As part of the company, Marco discovers a whole new world, but also that “it’s not all glitz and glamour, it’s also hard work.”
The cast is completed Zane Phillips (‘Legacies’) as Chad, Madolyn’s son and the company’s Sales Director who tries very hard to live up to his mother’s expectations. Venetia, whom she brings to life Jade Payton (The Rookie)is Madolyn’s first assistant and will take Marco under her wing not only in the company, but also in Brooklyn’s queer nightlife. Michael Hsu Rosen (‘Much More Than Ready’) will be Ben, a graphic designer who will find inspiration in the newcomer Marco and Ayesha Harris (‘Everybody Loves Daisy Jones’) like Britt, also a graphic designer for Glamourous by Madolyn who is going to be attracted to her partner.

Still without a release date, the series joins other Kim Cattrall projects such as Robert De Niro’s film ‘Tod About My Father’, as well as Hulu’s ‘How I Met Your Father’ or Peacock’s ‘Queer as Folk’ .
