Good news for Aston Martin. Lance Stroll could participate in the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend despite his bicycle accident a few days ago. He was not in the tests in this same scenario, but yes it would make it to the debut.
As reported by ‘Motorsport’, the Canadian travels to Bahrain and there it will be the FIA doctors who decide if they give him the go-ahead to get on the Aston Martin.
Stroll had to undergo surgery in Barcelona after fracturing his wrist in a bicycle accident. He later traveled to Silverstonewhere in the factory the team has been working on the simulator.
He feels ready and that is why he will be in Bahrain. It will be the FIA and Formula 1 that make a final decision.
Aston Martin gave Felipe Drugovich the opportunity in the tests and there was also talk of the possibility of a punctual return of Sebastian Vettel. The team confirmed that there had been talks, although no further details were given.
