Lewis Hamilton’s “craving” for “more fights” with Fernando Alonso

When lewis hamilton debuted in Formula 1 by the hand of McLaren he did it together with a Fernando Alonso who came from being a two-time world champion with Renault and that he had been in the category since 2001 (with the break in 2002).

Since then, the Asturian and the British have maintained a fierce rivalry on the track, with some friction off it, but always with great admiration for both being processed.

In line with his boss’s statements, Toto WolffA few days ago, the pilot of Mercedes has spoken with ‘Motorsport-Total’ about the competitive longevity of both.

“I think there are a lot of people like Tom Bradythere are many different ways that you can exercise, it depends on your food and the way you focus,” he explained.

“The technology around our bodies is changing, I think it’s mainly just a matter of mentality remain the same to have the need to sacrifice as much as at the beginning”, he added.

Is it possible to be until the age of 50 in F1? Hamilton does not rule out anything: “That is my case. So I don’t know. I can’t speak for Fernando.”

“He’s doing a great job. I look forward to more great fights.”added Lewis, aware that his Mercedes now competes face to face with Alonso’s Aston Martin.
