“Something big is coming! Introducing the first Lexus TX, coming soon. #LexusTX.”
With this brief statement, lexus anticipates a totally new model for the brand, which will also be the first produced at the Toyota plant in Indiana.
Some time ago, Toyota had announced two new American-made SUVs. The first of them is him Grand Highlander and it appeared in February, at the last Salon in Chicago, and the second will be the Lexus TXwhich will be twinned in everything with the model of Toyotaand will go on sale around August 2023.

Toyota Grand Highlander.
From what is known so far, it will be an SUV with three rows of seats (7 or 8 seats) that will take advantage of the modular base Toyota TNGA-Kand will aim to compete with the flagships of BMW and Mercedes Benz, the X7 and GLS, respectively.
The only thing Lexus shows us is the rear of the model, and it looks a robust and quadriform model as the Americans like so much. But it is also obvious that it will have a design very similar to that of the Grand Highlander.
As an illustration, the Grand Highlander measures 5,116 mm long, 1,989 mm wide, 1,781 mm high and has a 2,946 mm wheelbase. If the same dimensions are confirmed, the TX will be positioned above the new RX (4.89 m long) and below the luxurious LX (5.10 m long), being a possible replacement for the already veteran GX.
Some American media believe that the future TX will be offered in TX350, TX500h and TX550h+ versions.
