the year 2021, Nissan presented its Ambition 2030 action planwhich aims to accelerate the electrification of its vehicle lineup and the rate of technological innovation.
Through an investment of $17.5 billion, Nissan will introduce 23 new electrified models, including 15 new electric vehicles by 2030, with the goal of achieving an electrification mix of more than 50% globally across the Nissan and Infiniti brands. Some of these, we have already begun to see, as in the Kicks and X-Trail with e-Power engines.

During this announcement, four very special concepts were presented, Chill-Out, Surf-Out, Hang-Out and Max-Out. It is the latter, in a roadster key and with a very retrofuturist proposal, the only one that Nissan has decided to make a reality, in order to embellish its series of conferences Nissan Futures in Japan.
The interesting thing about this design exercise is that, contrary to what is customary with this type of car, Nissan has not said anything else about the model, be it its dimensions, the technical specifications of its electric powertrain or if it will represent a future design language. Apparently it is only a static model, which was modified from the renders already known with some details such as wheels with infinite tunnel effect, a digital screen that runs through a large part of the board and some extra details in neon blue.

The Max-Out proposal is based on the concept of “being one with the car”, offering a feeling of openness and release, in conjunction with a dynamic driving experience. Nissan Futures talks and conferences will have a wide range of topics, ranging from V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) connection protocols, recycling and reuse of batteries, sustainability, economy, innovation and vision of the future, opening the dialogue between panelists, influencers, experts, Nissan partners and young consumers.
