With just 2.9 m longWith a width of 1.5m and a height of 1.6m, the three-door, four-seater Comet will be the smallest four-wheeler in the range. However, its space will not be so small, since, thanks to its electric skateboard architecture, its relatively long wheelbase of 2,010 mm and its square shape, the interior space can be quite usable.
The Comet EV is expected to be powered by a battery of around 20-25 kWh capacity, to be sourced locally from Tata AutoComp, giving the Comet EV a driving range up to 300 km which will probably be certified by iCAT. The Comet is expected to be powered by a single engine on the front axle with a power about 50 kW (68 hp).
Regarding the body design, features a two-tone finish, a tall, stubby nose and a wraparound strip under the windshield with LED lighting elements ending in the exterior mirrors. Seen in profile, the small wheels pushed towards the edges and the asymmetric line of the windows with a two-tone paint finish stand out, while the rear has been designed to imitate the front.
This is the range of MG in Spain: a commitment to the electric car
Inside, we can see a 10.25-inch dual screenwireless connectivity with smartphones, voice control, air conditioning, rear camera and front radar, among other equipment.
As we told you, it is launched in markets such as China, Indonesia or India, but MG does not rule out that it can reach markets such as Europe in the future.
