Pedro Martinez de la Rosa ambassador of Aston Martin, has given an interview with ‘motorsports’ in which he has asked for patience for the project that they are creating from the United Kingdom. The Catalan also highlighted the importance of Fernando Alonso both for his speed and for everything he does for the team.
“Aston Martin is a team in clear progression. The new factory will be ready in the second half of 2023, the wind tunnel next year, the simulator…”, he says.
And he continues: “When all those tools are available to technical staff That’s when we’ll be most competitive.”
“Very hard work is being done, assembling the new technical parts, tools…”, insist on ‘Motorsport’.
Later, Fernando Alonso: “Not only is it fast, it is. It is knowing how to transmit, motivate, work as a team… He is a very complete driver in all of that.”
“It is something key for Aston Martin, which loses a four times World Champion but that he immediately signed him. He is super motivated. He is very professional, a precise and meticulous worker,” says de la Rosa.
The Aston Martin ambassador sees Fernando and sees the same as two decades ago: “I have seen him debut in several teams. You see the real Alonso there, the one from 20 years ago.”
Aston Martin has already confirmed the date on which will present the new car for 2023, a single-seater in which Fernando Alonso will sit to start the project with which he hopes to win again in Formula 1.
