The success and growth that MG Motor has had in our country is undeniable. Let us remember that their arrival occurred in difficult pandemic times, however, they have known how to “play” their cards well in terms of strategy for both sales and after-sales, without forgetting that the range of models that the brand offers has been widely accepted.
So the next move is the surprise arrival of three models, all SUVs, obviously; two as facelift (RX5 and HS) and one more completely new cut and with which MG ventures into electrification in Mexico (eHS).
The sixth model that the brand incorporates into its range in Mexico arrives in two versions, Excite & Elegance, both with renewed lines and strokes that give rise to a purposeful design. The front grill known by the brand as “Shark fangs” and the color accents that accompany it stand out. Connectivity, as well as infotainment, meet the versatility of the cabin, through components such as:
- Panoramic ceiling
- Leather upholstered seats
- 14.1” vertical screen with MG Connect
- 7” digital instrument panel

MG has endowed the new RX5 with the second generation of Netblue technologies focused on the mechanical part. This promises to optimize the performance and consumption of the turbocharged engine:
- Engine: 1.5L turbo
- Power: 168 Hp
- Torque: 203 lb-ft
- Transmission: 7-speed DCT.
- Safety and assistance: 6 airbags, ABS, TCS, ESP, and VDC system.
