PGiven the current delicate context for importers with very limited quotas to enter units, Hyundai continues to bet on expanding its local range. In this sense, it has just added a new version to the Staria portfolio as a more accessible option for its minivan.
With less equipment and in this case, only with front-wheel drive, the Staria Safety maintains the outstanding characteristics of the product presented at the end of last year in Argentina, such as its striking design and the well-known turbodiesel engine with an automatic gearbox.
These are its main features:
The new:
It is the entry-level version of the minivan of the Korean brand that replaced the remembered H1. In this case, to achieve a more accessible price, it loses some comfort and technology items, as well as driving assistance systems, although it still has a full complement of equipment.
Aesthetically, it looks practically the same as the full version, with its striking design in which its clean and smooth surfaces stand out, with the windows practically flush with the body, only the wheel arches stand out. But what undoubtedly gives it the most distinctive touch is its front sector, made up of a huge grille and air intake with chrome details along with the main headlights located in a much lower position than usual. On the bonnet, in addition to the logo of the brand, a LED strip stands out that fulfills the function of daytime running lights.
Like its exterior, the interior also sports a very futuristic design, which features a huge screen for the multimedia system and air conditioning. The instruments are in a more upright head-up display position and are 100% digital. It only arrives in our country in a single 11-seater configuration to be approved as a commercial vehicle.
Comfort equipment:
Multi-zone air conditioning with outlets in the rear seats, digital instruments with a 10.25″ display, multimedia system with an 8″ touch screen with browser and compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, audio equipment with AM/FM radio, USB/AUX /Bluetooth, multifunction steering wheel, USB ports (8), keyless access and start, height and depth adjustable steering column, reclining and full-flat rear seats, fabric upholstery, electrically folding and heated mirrors, triple front glove box, selectable driving modes (Normal, Sport, Eco), electric parking brake, reversing camera and rear parking sensors.
Safety equipment:
Front, side and curtain airbags, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS/EBD/BA, traction control, stability control, Isofix anchors, descent control, hill start assist, homogeneous spare wheel, seat belts three-point inertial safety and head restraints in the 11 seats.
Mechanics:
This version also maintains the well-known 2.2 CRDi turbodiesel engine, which delivers 177 hp and 44 kgm of torque, coupled to an automatic gearbox with an 8-speed torque converter. In this case, the traction is front (2WD).
